Bali is rich in plants and wildlife. It has about 282 species of birds. Out of these 130 are common. Bali starling is one of the best known species and occurs in the west side of Bali. Wild life in Bali is supported by parks; one of them is called the Bali reptile park.
This park has the most collection of reptiles in Southeast Asia. They do have an 8m reticulated python. And python is the largest snake in captivity.
Then there is this big forest called the Sangeh monkey forest and it contributes to the wildlife of Bali as it has giant trees. The attractions here are monkeys that are found over the trees.
There is another forest called the Ubud monkey forest and monkeys here are very wild. This forest is smaller than the Sangeh monkey forest. This forest also consists of Temples and cool forest trails are good. Then there is another park that contributes to Bali’s wildlife is the Bali Butterfly Park. |
