Barbados is an island that is one of the beautiful travel destinations as well. It had beautiful beaches with shallow blue waters surrounded by tall mountains and lush green gardens that spread themselves nearby the waterside.

There are least substantiation and evidences about the history of Barbados but it is said that it was occupied first by Arawak Indians until the Spanish invaders came to the place in sixteen century.
While there is a lot Spanish influence on the culture and tradition of the place, you will also find a Portugal touch to the place as well. Being a colonial state of British, it has a large number of natives of Africa, who were brought here to work in the sugar plantations. Later after the end of the colonial rule of Britishers, the place was declared independent. |
