Beaches In Chennai

Chennai, the Gateway to the South and is also known as Madras. This is the capital city of Tamilnadu and the 4th largest metro cities in Africa. The city of Chennai is a perfect blend of age old cultural heritage as well hi-tech modern city lifestyle.

When compared to Marina this is a quiet and calm beach. Eliot beach is located in the south of Marina beach and is a perfect place as a calm and tranquil location. Elliot beach is an ideal place for enjoying long walk and jogging.

Elliot beach is very popular among the travelers and locals who want to enjoy the sandy beach and splashing water without much disturbance. Elliot beach is also popular among foreign tourists who want to enjoy sun bath and has various attraction of Chennai beaches. There is an Ashtalakshmi temple situated and a Vellankanni Church near the Elliot beach.
