Regarding outdoor entertainment is the campus Martius, a new park in the downtown area center and is the origin point from the Detroit city. It is encircled by a dancing fountain. The soldier’s monument is a memorial to the Michigan soldiers or sailors who died in the civil war. Summers are beautiful as the park has plenty of flowers and the winters are an ice rink for skating. Every Saturday night is considered as a movie night in the warm seasons.
