The Hart Plaza serves as the hub to numerous
downtown parades, festivals and also the Freedom Festivals fireworks.
The plaza also includes the Dodge Memorial Fountain that was designed
by the sculptor, Isamu Noguchi. There are many places to see in Detroit
such as the Joe Louis statue standing inside the Cobo hall center. This
is the place a museum is dedicated to the life of a boxer and is open
to public on weekends.
Detroit attractions include the buildings of the
ancient era built in ornate style. Some of the buildings are Guardian,
Penobscot and Buhl buildings. The fisher buildings and the original
General Motors are also magnificent. The other beautiful construction
includes the theaters, the Masonic Temple, the Fisher, the Ambassador
Bridge, the Orchestra Hall, and many more.
Detroit attractions are many and one such among
many places to see in Detroit is the Detroit zoo. This zoo is an abode
to more than 286 different species and 1300 animals. They house several
polar bears, seals, arctic foxes and sea lions. Few other prominent
exhibits are the reptile house, butterfly garden, giraffe house,
penguinarium, and free flying aviary.
