A tour of Goas’s many spice plantations offers a view of Goan life beyond its beaches. To discover, head to the plantations around Ponda, such as the Sahakari Farm where vanilla, cardamom, nutmeg and cinnamon flavor the air and many species of birds and butterflies can be spotted.
