Wildlife In Houston

Talking about Wild life in Houston well the rarest animal in the region is red wolf and it only lives in Small swampy areas of the city of Houston.

This is not good for the wolf because this area is the most inhabited area in the state and it is expanding very rapidly. This might result in wolf’s being distinct.

Well the Houston wildlife is also famous for white tailed deer whose number has exceeded to three million. This is largest population of white deer in Texas and around the world. This animal is basically from the Mexico border but this creature has spread all over the Mississippi river and Oklahoma.

It’s an odd creature of Houston wild life which bears in identical quadruplets. The coyote, bobcat and the mountain lion are also common in this region and they are very wild. Houston wild life consists of over 825 species of birds and they become even more plentiful as travelled to the south along the coast of Texas.

Some species look very nasty but they don’t harm the humans. An island called the Matagorda Island state park with regards to its wildlife. Thus park is located in the quiet Bay City, along the coast, one third distance from Houston to Corpus Christi.
