Khajuraho is a city which is situated in the state of Madhya Pradesh in the district of Chhatarpur. This is a city which is well known for its sculptures and temples. The temples of this city are popular among the visitors.

Khajuraho Archaeological Museum: The items from the temple were displayed by W E Jardine in the year 1910. The display which took place of the items takes place close to the temples of western group. Former the museum was known as the Jardine museum but later on in the year 1952 this temple was named as the archaeological museum. All the items which are displayed in the temple are of the 10th and 12th century. All the items show the reflection of the Jain and Hindu religion. This museum is now home to more than 2000 items. This museum is the famous tourist attraction in Khajuraho.

Adinath Temple: This temple is dedicated to the Jain Tirthankara, Adinath. The sculpted images of the Yakshis are popular here.

Parsavanath Temple: This temple is also dedicated to the Jain Tirthankara Parsavanath. In the city Khajuraho this is the largest Jain temple. It is a temple which is well decorated.

Hanuman Temple: This is a temple which is dedicated to the Hindu deity Hanuman. Here the statue of the hanuman is near about 8 ft tall.

The Brahma Temple: This temple is very much popular temple in the city of Khajuraho. It is a granite stone temple which has four faced statue of the Brahma.

The Chaturbhuja Temple: This is a temple which is dedicated to the Hindu deity Vishnu. This is a fantastic temple which was built in the 1100 AD. This temple has the statue of the lord Vishnu which is 3 mt tall.

Chaunsat Yogini Temple: This temple is dedicated to the deity Kali. It is the famous granite temple and the famous tourist attraction in Khajuraho. In the city of Khajuraho this is the only granite temple.
