Borivilli National Park: This is a park which is situated in the greater Mumbai and it also forms the fraction of the area catchments of the powai lakes and vihar.

Sanjay Gandhi National Park: This Park is situated on the Pavilion hills. This park is also known as the Krishnagiri Upvan. This park also includes the Gandhi smriti Mandir. This is also called as the lion safari park. This park is open for the tourists on all the days except Monday.

Karnala bird Sanctuary: It is a home to several varieties of the birds and animals. This is a sanctuary which is open for the visitors all through the year. The varieties of animals and birds can be seen at any time of the year.
Sewri Mangrove Park: This is a park which falls between the trombay and Sewri.

This park covers an area of 15 acres. Different species of birds and seven species of mangrove can be seen in this park. On January 15 1996 this park was declared as a protected area by the Mumbai port trust.
