Those looking to make a day of shopping in Phuket may prefer a visit to the Central Festival in Phuket City or Jungceylon in Patong. These venues are shopping complexes that offer a wide variety of shops, restaurant and even cinemas. They may not be as large as those in major Western cities but there is plenty available to keep most people amused for several hours.
In hypermarkets and shopping complexes prices are fixed, this though is not the case when visiting smaller shops in Phuket, as well as market traders. There are many reduced prices to be had if only you ask about them. |
