Ballard Locks

conveniently transport coal and timber by boat. It is the connecting
link for boats of the salty Puget Sound and fresh water of Ship Canal.

watch the carnival of sailboats, tug barges, motorboats, yachts
passing.
Spend the whole day watching boats of different
shapes and sizes entering the lock. Also halt at the fish ladder, which
is built to let salmon pass amidst fresh and salty water. Through the
glass panels catch a glimpse of the fish that is being navigated via
the ladder. If you are lucky you could get a chance to watch the
sea-lion jumping out, anticipating its meal.
Benaroya Hall
This tourist attraction of Seattle is a concert hall and home to
Seattle Symphony. It consists of an auditorium, grand lobby, meeting
rooms and recital rooms. Numerous musical concerts are held every year
at Benaroya Hall.
